THE QUALIFICATIONS
of CFA's satisfy two distinct requirements, namely an academic qualification and practical experience. Accordingly, membership is reserved for:
* Persons with a recognised academic qualification in Accounting (BCom, B Acc, B Compt, CTA, or appropriate Technikon National Diploma) and who have sufficient relevant experienced or have served a three-year supervised training period (CFA training or Trainee Accountantship).
* Members in good standing of the following bodies: (ACCA, CIMA, ICSA, SAICA)
* All candidates applying for Practising Membership are required to complete the Professional Evaluation.
* All members have to continuously update their knowledge and skills under the Continuing Professional Development programme.
